The 3 pictures below are your entry point to everything you need for mrU's year 9 math class.
The year 7 & 8 website is a link to the Middle School web site for math. Here you have access to our program for the whole year.
Our googleClassroom provides a history of what we have done, lists exercises that are assigned, and your current scores.
The resources folder centralizes all information of use to you.
Year 8 students have by now settled in to the middle school vibe, and should make the most of this year, during which they can enjoy being the big kids.
At the same time, year 8 students need to prepare for secondary school. Secondary school lacks the structure of middle school: each class is with a different teacher, and a different group of students; peer groups therefore become more complicated; and at the same time the syllabus becomes far more academic. Furthermore, year 9 are the little kids in secondary, which is a significant adjustment to make.
My advice to year 8 students: practice your social skills (i.e. making friends); and work to improve your work habits (i.e. make yourself ready for much more academic work next year).
