Welcome to the web pages for Mr. Uygur's math classes.

I think math is a fun subject that requires lots of creativity.

I think that all children have very high capacities in creativity and innovation. In my class, I would like students - if they don't know the answer - to have a go; to not be afraid of being wrong. Being wrong is not the same as being creative, but if you are not prepared to be wrong, you will never come up with anything original. Many adults have lost their ability to do this, which I think is unfortunate.

I do my best to support all the students in my class in their task of practicing and building on their creativity.
